The Litsea oil comes from the Litsea cubeba plant in Vietnam. Its aroma is Fruit-like lemon and lemongrass, but sweeter and softer. It is extracted during the Steam distillation of the fruit.


Chemical composition (main ingredients):

Citral, Limonene, Miycrene, Methyl hepetone, Linaolol, Linyll acetate

Combines well with citrus aromas, sandalwood, cedar, cypress, jasmine, ylang-ylang, vanilla


May cause irritation to more sensitive skin!

Main therapeutic properties:

Anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal.





The Litsea essential oil helps in arrhythmia caused by stress and anxiety. In case of indigestion – stomach massage. Reduces fatigue in muscles, heating action. It has a soothing effect –  works in insomnia (in combination with lavender and Roman chamomile). It also has a tonic effect on the nervous system, it can help to ensure clarity of thought, nervousness, anxiety, confusion.
For severe infections, flu and cold, cough – inhalation is recommended


Suitable for oily skin (in combination with lemon grass, low concentration for masks), great bath supplement for herpes. It soothes, cools, tones and strengthens the whole body. In acne (in jojoba oil), in mycoses – due to antifungal activity. Firming action on the skin – highly diluted. Controls sweating – can be mixed in the body lotion.


Effects well on the emotional state – lifts the spirit. Refreshes and reduces fatigue.
