Essential juniper berry oil is extracted from the Juniperus Communis plant of the Cupressaceae family. This fresh oil is used in aromatherapy to help, stimulate and strengthen the nervous system and the spirit. Juniper berry oil is not toxic, but because it can stimulate uterine muscles, it is advised not to use it during pregnancy and people with kidney problems. Some people also have allergic reactions to it, so you should use it in reasonable quantities.
