Botanical name: Canarium luzonicum
History: Canarium luzonicum, Elemi is a plant born in the Philippines but grown in France. Its oil has a translucent yellow color and has a fresh and citrus flavor. Used for aromatherapy, aromatic sticks, and soaps.
Preparation: Steam distillation of resin from the wood. Oleoresin.
Aroma: Fresh and pleasant with lemon, tree and balsamic notes. Combines well with essential oils of Kardamon, Incense, Healthy, Ginger, Lavender, Melissa, Rosewood.
Elemi’s essential oil works in infectious airway diseases accompanied by sputum, as well as in chronic bronchitis, antiseptic. It is used in cold and sinusitis, in the irritated and cracked skin, allergic rashes. Greatly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, relaxes muscles after training, in the treatment of infectious airway diseases accompanied by sputum removal, as well as in chronic bronchitis, antiseptic and healing properties.
Elemi essential oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store in a dry and cool place away from sources of heat and light. Avoid contact with eyes.
