The Allspice natural oil is made from the Ріmеntа Dіоіса plant also known as Pіmеntа Оffісіnаlіѕ of the Муrtасеае family. It’s famous for its names Allspice, Jamaican pepper, and Pimenta.Even though it’s not among the most popular oils in aromatherapy it provides a long list of therapeutic properties and it has a very pleasant warming effect. It is very good for treating rheumatism, chest pain and it can assist in treating depression and stress.

The Allspice natural oil is good in helping with problems with digestion, muscle cramps, diarrhea, and nausea.It can also provide aid in mental health issues such as depression, nervousness, neuralgia, and stress.


Allspice oil is extracted from the leaves and is yellowish brown in color and its smell is similar to cloves. The oil extracted from the fruits of the plant is pale yellow in color and has a fresh aroma of spicy smells.


Bachar oil (from leaves and fruits) is extracted by steam distillation. The fruit also produces oleoresin in small amounts.

Therapeutic properties

The therapeutic properties of Allspice oil are: analgesic, antioxidant, antiseptic, gingival, muscle relaxants, agitation, stimulant and tonic.

Chemical composition

The main chemical components of Allspice oil are eugenol, methyl eugenol, cineol, phellandrene, and caryophyllene.


Allspice oil should be used only dilute as it is found to irritate the slime membrane and may cause skin irritation.


  • Warmers and diffusers: Depression and stress relief.
  • Massage and bath oils: When a few drops of the oil are added on a piece of cloth the scent can be used for help with digestion issues,migraines and dizziness.
