The summer heat has come and you are looking for something to cool the skin that is not full of harmful chemicals? We can help by presenting this easy recipe for home-made spray against sunburn.

However, we should mention that the spray recipe is not the most suitable remedy to use as a sunscreen. It is used to cool the skin after exposing the scorching sun all day long. The ingredients included in it have anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that cool down. Aloe, essential oils and hamamelis are included in the body spray.

Aloe is the plant that is donated with anti-inflammatory properties and has a beneficial effect on the skin.

The distilled chamomile, which we add to the spray, has the power to prevent swelling and soothe the skin. The drops of essential oil add a pleasant scent to the home-based spray against sunburn and also cool the skin.

Here are the ingredients and their exact quantity that you need to mix your spray against sunburn:

1. Water – 50 ml

2. Aloe juice – 25 ml (can be found in any herbal pharmacy)
3. Mint essential oil – 5 drops (you can also replace it with eucalyptus if you want to mix both oils, but keep the same drops.)

Preparing to stop sunburn takes a few minutes because you only have to mix the ingredients. The resulting liquid is then poured into a nebulizer bottle. Before using the spray, shake the bottle well. Spray on the skin when it gets too hot to cool off.

Home spray for sunburn can be used for 2 months as long as it is stored in the refrigerator.
